🌿 PANGEOS COST Action – 4th Newsletter Now Available!
Dear PANGEOS Members and Colleagues,
We are delighted to share the 4th PANGEOS Newsletter, featuring highlights from an inspiring season of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange across Europe!
This issue includes:
- The Field Day at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Ås, Norway, 19–20 June 2025), bringing together researchers and practitioners in sustainable land management.
- The Interdisciplinary Summer School on Forest Ecosystems (4–8 August 2025, University of Oxford, UK), organized jointly by four COST Actions and featuring hands-on sessions led by PANGEOS trainers.
- The Hackathon of WG1 and WG2 (Aarhus University, Denmark, 28–29 August 2025), focusing on improving crop growth models through remote sensing.
- The Core Group Meeting (9 September 2025, Jūrmala, Latvia) and the PANGEOS COST Action Conference (10–11 September 2025, Jūrmala, Latvia), where our community gathered to exchange research progress and strengthen cross-country collaboration.
- The Training School on the Terrestrial Carbon Community Assimilation System (TCCAS) (Hamburg, Germany, 22–23 September 2025), providing hands-on training in terrestrial carbon cycle modelling.
- Dissemination Activities, including our participation at EGU 2025 and the COST Connect events, where PANGEOS represented its network in discussions on environmental sustainability and gender equality.
- Grants and mobility opportunities under GP2 supporting collaboration and research excellence across our Action.
